Bywater Call "Shepherd"

Bywater Call’s Latest Album “Shepherd” — A Musical Beacon

In the ever-expanding universe of music, a glimmering beacon has emerged in the form of Bywater Call's third album since their resounding debut in 2017. Aptly named "Shepherd," this album is not merely a collection of songs but a journey through the soulful landscapes of blues, jazz, rock, and Americana.

The Pinnacle of Fusion

With "Shepherd," Bywater Call has crafted an auditory masterpiece that sets them shoulder to shoulder with the greats in this expansive genre. This Canadian ensemble has broken the mould—melding harmoniously the roots of jazz-rock with the depth of the blues, the spirit of soul, and the raw authenticity of Americaine. There’s a rare magic in the way they have meshed these diverse genres into a cohesive sound that is entirely their own.

Meghan Parnell - The Voice That Binds

At the center of the band stands Meghan Parnell, whose voice serves as the emotional compass guiding us through each melodic turn. Earlier this spring, we had the pleasure of sitting down with Meghan to discuss the band's evolution and their highly anticipated album. Her passion for music and dedication to her craft are palpable—a quality that resonates throughout the band’s work.

A Relentless Journey

Bywater Call’s tenacity on the road mimics the relentless drive found within their music. Touring across the globe, they bring their unique sound to countless fans, establishing a community bound by the love of good music. Their upcoming fall shows in Europe stand as beacons themselves, signaling to fans old and new that theirs is a performance not to be missed.

"Inspirational" barely scratches the surface when describing what Bywater Call has accomplished with "Shepherd." It is an invitation—to listen, to feel, and to witness a band as they truly come into their own. With open arms and hearts, Bywater Call invites you to join them in this monumental chapter of their musical odyssey.

Continuing with a Canadian flavour another equally impressive band are "The Damn Truth" who will be releasing their brand new as yet untitled album before the end of the year if you missed the show we recorded with lead vocalist Lee-la-Baum last year here is a clip
